Winery
A true jewel immerged in the vineyards, in the middle of a natural amphitheater, the
winery Antiche Terre Venete has arisen from the restoration of buildings dating back to
the late 1900, through an industrial archeology project, which also involved the
supervision of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage of Verona. The main building contains a
working environment of over 2,000 square meters, including the winemaking lines. The
building is insulated to ensure full control of the essential environmental conditions,
home to the state-of-the-art installations and technology, in order to obtain a product
of excellence, with maximum respect for safety and quality. The cellar is powered partly
through solar energy. Green energy and respect for the environment are central to the
philosophy of Antiche Terre Venete.
Below the production plant there are 500 square meters with a barrel cellar for storing
and aging. The cellar contains 40 oak barrels of 50 hectoliters and 170 barriques of 225
liters of French and American fine-grained oak, open air seasoned for more than 30
months.
The offices and showrooms open to the public are un the upper level. A modern wood
and glass structure, with a huge terrace overlooking Valpantena. Modern lines that
blend in with the warmth and textures of wood, offering visitors an extraordinary
experience during tastings and events.
